Zorro Diego De Regla
A pirate from the 18th century who conquered the sea and 36 realms. Pulled from the timeline by Blayse Brookes for the Generations of Oblivion, Zorro is obsessed with world conquest and believes that one day Hayley Page will end up just like him. Originally the product of the 'truest love' in Calcifer's first book, his backstory was carried over when he was reimagined as an 18th-century pirate.
History
As a child, his best friend was murdered in front of him. Zorro followed the killer and killed him. He grew up alongside his parents through their adventures and battles against evil. When his parents died he fell into darkness, discovering a magical power that consumed him. He became a pirate in pursuit of that power — conquering the sea and 36 realms. His obsession corrupted his once-pure heart, making him the only person ever to have a heart full of true love turn completely dark. Driven by a need to be remembered forever, he began carving the letter Z into everything he conquered.
