The Characters
Meet the Characters

Moros
aka Jack
Born as Jack, he took the name Moros — the mythic god of chaos so feared that not even Zeus could question him — after grief and betrayal sent him spiraling into darkness. Armed with a godslayer sword, he killed Chronos and claimed the power of time itself, then spent years trying and failing to undo his sister's death before turning that power toward revenge on August Page.

Blayse Brookes
Blayse is from the 131st century. When the world was destroyed he traveled back in time and gathered history's most conquering people — Zorro Diego De Regla and Victor — to create the Generations of Oblivion and save his home.

Page
August and Celestia's future son from the year 2042. No further information is known.

Fable
The first fairy tale character to ever live — the very core of the book. He lives within all fairy tale characters. He sought Hayley Page's body, as she is the Child of Prophecy and the only one he does not live within.

Jaylen Lawre
Jaylen is Hayley Page's girlfriend and one of the smartest students at her school — always at the top of the class with straight A's.

Zander Thoth
Born with severe mental disorders and dismissed by everyone around him, Zander spent his early years perceived as dangerous and delusional — but what he saw was real. Sent to a mental institution at 14, he escaped and was forced into a death game on Suicide Island against 500 participants. He was the sole survivor. Trained as a perfect assassin afterward, he eventually killed his handlers, found his way home, and chose to carve out his own legacy — targeting Hayley Page.

Grim Reaper
aka Death
He is the Grim Reaper.

Zane White
aka Black Gun
A new student at Hayley Page's school — originally the dark, mysterious, and edgy kid who became more open after befriending Hayley. His father blames him for the death of his mother, verbally abuses him, and struggles with alcoholism. Zane battles to find who he is, fighting darkness and depression. At school he is easily influenced and sometimes gives into a bad crowd.

Hansel Wonka
aka Doctor Smile
Son of Willy Wonka, Hansel spent his earliest years being exploited in Candyland. Left for dead when Candyland was destroyed, he escaped with Candyman's medical magic research, taught himself poison and magic, fell into a life of crime, and rose to become the most notorious mob boss in the realm — known by many names on the street.

Hermes Stillsoul
Known across the realms by many titles — the Evolved One, the New All Father, the King of Magic, the God of Speed, the Greatest Thief in All the Realms — Hermes is regarded as the most powerful and feared being in existence. Obsessed with dark magic, he was banished to No Man's Land with his powers bound to it. His sole goal: escape with his power intact.

Hanahana Chi
Amy Chi's twin sister and the one who nearly killed her as a child with uncontrolled fire powers. Hanahana mastered those same powers under mentor Tai Chung, spent her life alongside Amy perfecting the black arts, and in her later years sought out the legendary Chinese Black Dragon — and tamed it.

Amy Chi
Nearly killed as a child by her twin sister's uncontrolled fire powers, Amy grew up to become one of the most disciplined fighters in the Oblivion universe — mastering nine martial arts and the black arts alongside Hanahana under the guidance of their mentor Tai Chung.

Zorro Diego De Regla
A pirate from the 18th century who conquered the sea and 36 realms. Pulled from the timeline by Blayse Brookes for the Generations of Oblivion, Zorro is obsessed with world conquest and believes that one day Hayley Page will end up just like him. Originally the product of the 'truest love' in Calcifer's first book, his backstory was carried over when he was reimagined as an 18th-century pirate.

Carolina Catherine Limonhart
A former Olympic-level athlete and pro swimmer turned hero, Caroline is one of the strongest spiritual warriors in the universe. Her life has been defined by relentless determination — from competing against Ares in the Tournament of War to spending fifteen years searching the world for her stolen daughter.

Vincent Dawn
aka Void
Born with extraordinarily rare magic, Void grew curious about the limits of his own power and fell into a life of crime exploring it. His defining moment came when his 13-year-old sister was taken by Ares — he spent months searching for a way to free her, eventually realizing he needed to win a tournament, and for that he needed a team. He became one of Hayley Page's closest friends before his death.

Iapetus
aka Lapetus
Born in Cloud Nine and raised among the gods, Iapetus made one catastrophic mistake — attempting to steal Zeus's power. Executed for it, he made a deal with the Grim Reaper to leave the afterlife and seek revenge, receiving half of Death's power in return. His new name came from Moros, who mocked him for it: "Maybe we should call you Lapetus instead."

Scarlett Juliana White
Daughter of Cordelia Limonhart and Zane White, Scarlett shares her brother Kyle's spiritual gifts and genius intellect but wraps them in a personality that is equal parts lazy, funny, and stubbornly self-assured. She carries black guns and can sense when the people she loves are in danger.

Kyle White
Son of Cordelia Limonhart and Zane White, Kyle inherited both his father's spiritual sensitivity and his own formidable intellect. Sweet-natured but quick-tempered with anger problems, he can sense danger coming for the people he loves — and can see ghosts and spirits others cannot.

Itzu Chi
Son of Hanahana Chi and Hansel Wonka, Itzu inherited fire manipulation from his mother's bloodline. Kind and respectful but with a cocky streak, he is a skilled fighter and acrobat at just 12 years old.

Nicholas Bludfyre
aka Nick
Nick had a normal life until depression and anger began pulling him toward darkness at age 10. He became someone people feared — edgy, threatening, antisocial. But underneath the darkness lives an equal measure of light, and somewhere inside Nick he still wants to do good.

Vince Inferno
Raised from birth on an island that existed solely to forge assassin-samurai warriors, Vince was deployed at 16 for his first target and never looked back. He became a high-class assassin for hire, collecting the weapons of those he defeated. Along the way he obtained the Sword of Hellspawn — and with it, Lucifer himself took up residence within him.

Reborn
Little is known about Reborn — but what is known is significant. He is aware of Hayley Page's true power, knowledge few others possess. In his true form, Zackary himself noted that Reborn would be powerful enough to challenge even Hermes Stillsoul.

August Page
Born a month early — an "August miracle" — August grew up with a singular dream: to become a photojournalist like his largely absent father. He spent his entire childhood working toward that goal, and after graduating he traveled the world pursuing his father and his career, ultimately being pulled into the world of I Told You They Were Real.

Hayley Page
The Child of Prophecy — a bright, endlessly optimistic 17-year-old who sees the best in everyone and refuses to hate even her worst enemies. The reincarnation of Angelica, an angel who is a symbol of true love, Hayley carries an extraordinary destiny while remaining one of the most genuinely kind people in any room. Cordelia Limonhart's daughter, and a natural hero.

Celestia Moon Page
Raised as the Princess of England, Celestia spent her entire life resenting the crown — not because she didn't care for her people, but because no one could ever see past the title to the person underneath. On her 17th birthday she ran away to find the world she'd always been denied, stumbled upon the book I Told You They Were Real, and was pulled inside it.

Shyla Ashley White
Born extraordinarily gifted and years ahead of her peers, Shyla became the de facto mother and caretaker of her family at age 11 after her mother was murdered. She graduated high school at 14 and college with a master's degree at 16 — all while raising her infant sister and supporting her grieving brother. At 20 she became a detective to hunt down her mother's killer.

Nemesis
aka Goddess of Revenge
Born without remorse or mercy, Nemesis believed that criminals deserved death and dispensed justice accordingly — killing those she deemed guilty. Zeus punished her repeatedly, and when she refused to stop, he placed a curse upon her that slowly kills her. She now searches for a successor with "true hatred in their heart" to carry on her brand of vengeance.

Candyman
aka Charles Spice
Obsessed with proving himself better than his sister Sugar, Candyman created an entire realm — Candyland — to rule over. He is one of two people known as the King of Medical Magic, alongside Willy Wonka.
